Class 52(5) A garment hanger comprises a yoke member 10 with broadened ends 15 recessed to receive a transverse trousersupporting bar 26 mounted on threaded shafts 31. Clamping bars 34, 35 are moved into a clamping position by nuts 18, 19 mounted on the shaft. In a modification the yoke member with recesses is replaced by end plate assemblies, forming shoulder supports, mounted on the end of the transverse bar.
