Abstract
702,613. Fire &c. escape apparatus. STEWART, P. Sept. 10, 1952 [Sept. 10, 1951], No, 21251/51. Class 47 Fire escape apparatus comprises an apron 6 which is placed over a window sill 12 and anchored to the floor by a rope 9, hooks 10 and eye 11, and a rope 17 which is provided with a harness 19 at one end and is passed over pulley 18 in a block 15 secured to the rope 9 by an eye 16. The apron 6 is provided with wooden slats 14, and the pulley block is provided with braking means.
