701,306. Leaded lights. LOWCOCK, F. June 13, 1952 [June 14, 1951], No. 14072/51. Class 20 (3) [Also in Group XI] A leaded light of dish or truncated cone form comprises panels of transparent or translucent material having their edges held in channels of lead strip, the perimeter lead strip being of H- section with a reinforcing wire housed in its outer channel to hold the leaded light in shape. As shown a hub 4 and ring member 7 of H- section lead strip support panels 5 separated by radial strips 6 of lead channel, the hub 4 engaging the periphery of a cap member 3 for attachment to a lamp fitting (see Group XI). The outer channel of the ring 7 houses a reinforcing wire 8 held therein by the inwardly bent side walls of the channel.
