700,145. Bookmarks. BISHOP, M. E. Feb. 11, 1952 [Jan. 14, 1952], No. 1101/52. Class 16 [Also in Group XVI] A bookmarker consists of an oblong plate 4 the centre part of which is cut to form a resilient tongue 1 having a tapered slot 8 formed therein to enable the sizes of knitting needles to be measured. The plate may be made of sheet-metal, plastic or the like, the tongue being preferably bent downwardly at 2 and upwardly 'at 3 so as to grip the sheet. An inch scale 7 may be provided on one edge of the marker.
