Abstract
698,986. Buckles. NEGRINT, A. Aug. 21, 1951 [Oct. 5, 1950], No. 19725/51. Class 43. In a pivoted-tongue buckle for wrist-watch straps, comprising two elements elastically connected together, a frame 1, having a cross bar 2 on which a tongue 3 is pivoted, carries on its side bars cylinders 4, 5 respectively in each of which a piston 19 carried by a rod 17 or 18 is slidable against the action of a spring 20. The rods are connected to sleeves 12, 13 bridged by a headed pin 14 which passes through the sleeve 13 and screws into the sleeve 12. One end of a strap 21 is secured round the pin 14.
