Abstract

694,492. Hair-washing appliances. BRACE, M. Sept. 11, 1950 [Feb. 1, 1950], No. 2615/50. Class 81 (ii). A protective hairwashing device to prevent irritant substances from passing over the face when the hair is being treated comprises a band 2 a flange 3 and a sealing strip 4, which is at a right angle or slightly greater angle to the band 2, held on the head by a strap 5. The device passes partly or completely round the head and is preferably made of porous or absorbent resilient material e.g. sponge or other rubber.
