Abstract

694,200. Tanks. PULLIN, C. G. Nov. 14, 1951 [Nov. 20, 1950], No. 28337/50. Class 69(i) [Also in Group XXXI] A fuel tank, for a power-assisted pedal cycle or other vehicle, is characterized by a shape which comprises a blind well separated by a shallower portion from a well having a connection to the fuel supply pipe. In the form shown, the tank T has a self-venting inlet C and comprises a blind well w<SP>2</SP> separated from a well w<SP>1</SP>, having a fuel outlet O by a shallower portion S. When the fuel in the well w<SP>1</SP> is exhausted, it is replenished by the well w<SP>2</SP> by tipping the vehicle. Another similar form of tank is also described.
