Class 122(i) A cylinder and piston unit comprises a cylinder of light metal such as aluminium and a piston made of ferrous metal, at least the rubbing portion of which'contains sulphur dissolved in its superficial layer. The sulphur may be dissolved in the layer by the method set forth in Specification 640,536, [Group II].
