Abstract

In the treatment of malignant tumours the appropriate part of the body is placed between two magnets of which the magnetism of one is continuous while that of the other is intermittent. The former magnet may either be a permanent magnet or an electromagnet while the latter is an electromagnet of which the energising current is cyclically interrupted at between 80 and 120 times a minute.
