688,756. Sawing. BURROWS (MANCHESTER), Ltd., W. Aug. 8, 1950 [May 7, 1949], No. 12237/49. Class 145 (ii). [Also in Groups I and XXXI] Relates to a two-wheeled agricultural tractor having handles 17, hydraulically operated jacks 24 and transverse and longitudinal power takeoff shafts. When the jacks are operative, the tractor can be used as a stationary power plant as shown in Fig. 9, a pulley 55 on the transverse power take-off shaft being belt-connected to a circular saw 62 and a support 63 for work being slidably mounted on a detachable structure 64 at the front of the tractor frame 11. Fig. 9 also shows a hedge trimmer 67 and sheep shearer 68 being driven from the tractor engine. Specification 616,727, [Group I], is referred to.
