A roundabout having a substantially annular passenger carrying deck, which may be suspended from overhead supporting means or supported by wheels running on a track or tracks and is revolved about a centre post by hand or power driven gearing, has one or more flights of stairs supported by the deck to give access to an upper deck or to a ring of passenger carrying devices mounted above the lower deck. As shown, the lower deck a is suspended by rods b, c from a structure composed of radial beams d connected by tension rods e to a head f rotating in bearings in the top of a hollow centre post g supported,on the ground. Model cars j having seats, and if desired pedals to revolve their wheels, are supported on the deck with the wheels free. Flights of stairs n provide access to an upper deck o suspended by pins 0 1 and sockets p from the rods b, c. Rockets r having propellors r<SP>1</SP> and transverse seats r<SP>2</SP> are supported by pins t<SP>1</SP>, t<SP>2</SP> received in brackets u attached to rods c. The beams d are attached to a spur wheel w rotatable about a bearing g<SP>1</SP> on the post g by a pinion x on a parallel shaft y driven through bevel gearing y<SP>1</SP> and reduction gearing z<SP>1</SP> from an electric motor z.
