686,515. Supports for joists and beams. TOLMAN, F. G. July 12, 1951, No. 16506/51. Class 20(iv) Joists or beams are supported from a wall or other supporting structure by a hanger comprising a bracket E, Fig. 3, and a sling D fixed tc the bracket E and projecting outwardly and downwardly therefrom. The sling receives the end of a joist or beam and fits in a groove F and is also secured by staples in the case of wooden joists or beams. Two joists or beams may be supported from a wall by the type of hanger shown in Fig. 2.
