Class 52(ii) A chair frame comprises rear legs 1 connected together by an inverted U - shaped back rest frame member, front legs 4 each of which has a horizontal part 5 rigidly connected to the back rest frame at 6 and being inwardly offset as shown, the two parts being welded together at 9. The parts 1, 2 are inclined slightly outwardly and rearwardly, while the front legs 4 are inclined slightly forwardly to enable several chairs to be stacked. A seat is detachably supported on the horizontal parts 5.
