Abstract

683,288. Clothes airers. GALLOWAY, F. D. Oct. 4, 1950 [July 21, 1949], No. 19263/49. Class 52(v) A clothes airer comprises a central standard 4 with collapsable clothes supporting arms 13 and is provided at its lower end with a heater 6 and a fan 5 to deliver air in a radial outward direction through slots 7 in the standard 4. Pivotally attached channel section legs 8 and the arms 13 are held in position by struts 10, 14 which engage pins 12 in the legs or arms. In their out of use position the legs 8 and arms 13 may lie adjacent the sides of the standard. Two or more airers may be assembled in vertical alignment.
