682,622. Spring mattresses. TOMS, Ltd., W. S., and TOMS, W. A. April 24, 1951 [June 8, 1950], No. 14303/50. Class 52(iv) In a spring interior mattress having a border frame 12, 121 secured to the peripheral springs 14 by rings or helices 13, 131 the marginal parts of the surface layers 10, 11 are deflected over the rings &c. by the boxing strip 15 to produce a cambered surface. The surface layers may be of dissimilar materials, such as rubber and felt respectively, for reversal for summer and winter use.
