Abstract
682,151. Frequency selective valve circuits; multiplex radio signalling. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Aug. 22, 1951 [Aug. 25, 1950], No. 19778/51. Classes 40 (v) and 40 (vi). The anode circuit of a secondary emissive valve includes a circuit 9 resonant to one of the frequencies in the input, two impedances 10, 11 being chosen of such value that no voltage of this frequency appears at the dynode 7. The impedances may be resistors, the value of resistor 10 being variable. The circuit may be used for separating different carrier waves such as sound and vision signals, for separating line and frame signals, in lowfrequency amplifiers to remove an unwanted frequency and in reflex amplifiers.
