681,396. Driving belts. FEXICON, Ltd. May 17, 1951 [May 17, 1950; July 6, 1950] , Nos. 12268/50 and 16865/50. Class 80 (i). A driving belt for engagement with cylindrical surfaced pulleys and comprising a circular sectioned belt formed of a core of threads of rubber, synthetic rubber, or a rubber-like plastic, or other suitable material coated with rubber, synthetic rubber, or a rubber-like plastic and wrapped about spirally with a covering of cotton or other threads coated with rubber, synthetic rubber or a rubber-like plastic, is moulded under suitable heat and pressure to a shape a so as to present at least one flat or substantially flat surface a<SP>1</SP> so as to prevent the belt " rolling " in use. Synthetic rubbers which can be used are neoprene, polystyrene or butadiene whilst a suitable rubber-like plastic is polyvinyl chloride.
