Abstract

679,757. Sliding doors. BECKETT, LAYCOCK & WATKINSON, Ltd. April 2,1951 [April 3, 1950], No. 8340/50. Class 20(iii) Supporting means for a sliding door comprises a track having upper and lower co-axial part-cylindrical bearing surfaces 11, 12, Fig. 2, 45a, 45b, Fig. 6, and a slipper 18, 44 having at least one similarly - shaped co-operating surface to slide thereon. The hangers 24 of the door are pivotally mounted about a horizontal axis 23 at right angles to the length of the track. Resilient damping pads 22, 47 are provided between the slipper and the track.
