Class 102 (i) A valve construction for double-acting reciprocating pumps comprises an inlet valve h and an outlet valve i for the lower end of the cylinder and a change-over valve j that is mechanically coupled to the inlet valve h by a bracket l so that it moves between the seats p and o and alternatively connects the passage g, leading to the upper end of the cylinder, with the delivery pipe c and the inlet pipe b. The valves are hinged and carried by a frame k retained in position on the cylinder by the housing a.
