677,446. Vehicle fittings for loading and unloading. ASSOCIATED COACHBUILDERS Ltd., and ROSCOE, J. E. Jan. 11, 1951. [Oct. 11, 1949] No. 26071/49. Class 78 (iv). [Also in Group XXXII] In a goods vehicle body wherein the rear portion B of the roof and sides is separate from, and telescopes forwardly into the forward portion A of the body to facilitate loading and unloading, the floor of the vehicle is corrugated and provided with tracks 22 to support a wheeled trolley 24. The trolley may be moved forwardly or rearwardly by a cable 26 attached either to the front or rear ends of the trolley and wound on to a hand operated winch 25 mounted at the rear end of the vehicle body.
