676,157. Cow-milkers. GASCOIGNES (READING), Ltd. Sept. 14, 1950 [May 16, 1950], No. 12176/50. Class 84 A teat cup liner of the kind comprising a body portion accommodated within a rigid teat cup casing, a tail portion depending from the body portion and projecting beyond the lower end of the casing and a head portion surmounting the body portion and attached to the upper end of the casing, and provided with a re-entrant lip is characterized in that the diameter of the lip opening 14 is not greater than the internal diameter of the upper end of the body portion 2, in that the lip opening terminates approximately midway between the upper end 9 of the body portion 2 and the radiused upper end 12 of the head, and in that the inwardly and downwardly tapering re-entrant lip 6 has an included angle of approximately 90 degrees.
