676,075. Photographic cameras with coupled range-finders. DECKEL, H., and DECKEL, F. W. Dec. 1, 1950 [Dec. 5, 1949; Nov. 16, 1950], No. 29494/50. Class 98 (i). A photographic camera with a shutter of the between-lens type and a coupling device between the adjustable camera lens and a rangefinder, is characterised in that an element of the coupling device is led through a hole or bore in the shutter body. As shown, the coupling element comprises a pin 14 passing through a hole in the shutter housing 10, and preferably through a collar 44 on which the shutter spring 46 is mounted. One end of pin 14 bears on an annular cam surface 48 formed on the mount 34 of the lens 36 or a part thereof, the mount being rotatable for focusing. The other end of pin 14 bears on a spring-urged member 38 connected to the movable part of the rangefinder. The setting ring 24 has an arcuate slot 25 through which pin 14 passes.
