Abstract

675,393. Skip hoists; shoots and hoppers. GUTMANN AKT.-GES. FUR MASCHINENBAU, A. Feb. 16, 1950. No. 3939/50. Classes 78(i) and 78 (iii). [Also in Group II] Granular or powdered materials to be mixed in a mixing machine 1 are fed by hoisted, guided skips 58 into rotating concentric hoppers 33, 35. The skips 58, Fig. 4. have rollers 59 which run on guide rails 47 and rollers 60 which run on an inner flange of a guiding frame 62 which guide the skips into a tipping position, over the hoppers. The skips are hoisted by ropes 55 which pass round a double rope drum 50. The concentric hoppers 33, 35, Fig. 1, are supported by a disc 31 from the rotating shaft 2 of the mixing machine. Beneath the disc 31 there is secured to the shaft 2 a disc 6. In operation sand is delivered from the outer hopper on to the rotating disc 31 and is discharged therefrom by adjustable scrapers 40, and cement is delivered from the centre hopper on to the rotating disc 6 from which it is discharged. by an adjustable scraper 43.
