Abstract
673,771. Crutches. CONCENTRIC MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd. June 6, 1950 [April 4, 1950], No. 8387/50. Class 81 (ii). The pivoted forearm clip of Specification 663,247 is provided with a readily releasable catch to hold it in the horizontal position. The clip 2 is supported on a block 8 having a pivot pin 9 located in vertical slots 18 in a fork at the head of the staff. A stud 19 engages in a recess 20 in the block 8 to hold the clip horizontal but is disengaged by lifting the arm so that block 8 is raised. The forearm can then be returned to the vertical position, the pin 19 running in a groove 21, the right-hand end of which serves as a stop when performing the locking movement.
