Abstract
673,660. Double windows. FISH, K. R. G., GENT, R. T., and BOYS, D. L. Feb. 28, 1950 [March 21, 1949], No. 7658/49. Class 20(iii). A double window has its two panes of glass 1 seated on a resilient sealing strip 2 formed with a channel in which metal strips 5 are positioned and is surrounded by a metal frame. 3 of E-section, a limb 6 of which is forced between the strips 5 to bring the panes of glass into sealing contact with the sealing strip 2. The space between the panes of glass may be exhausted and filled with dry air or gas or " breathing holes " may be provided.
