A detachable table 20 for use in a vehicle is carried by a frame 12 which can be engaged in another frame 8 rigidly secured to the vehicle body. The table is hinged on a pin 26 passing through lugs 23, 24 thereon which can be frictionally clamped against complementary lugs 15, 16 on the frame 12 by a cam 37.
