Abstract

666,977. Press-button switches. RICHARDSON, P. H. Jan. 11, 1949. [July 21, 1948] No. 19524/48. Class 38 (v). [Also in Group XXXVIII] A selective. switching means for operation of a combined rear light and signalling device for bicycles (see Group XXXVIII) comprises three press-buttons 52 arranged to depress spring blade contacts within the case 4 and thereby complete the circuits of three respective lamps. A leaf spring 58 fitted with a handle 59 is pivoted on the case so that it may be positioned to retain the central press-button in the depressed condition and thereby provide a permanent rear light when desired.
