Abstract

Class 7 (ii) A conduit 12 connected between intake and exhaust manifolds 1, 13 collects exhaust gas, as by a spoon-shaped member 14, which passes through at least one filter 15, a control valve b, which may be interconnected with the throttle 9, and an ejection chamber 11 connected, as by a conduit 17, to a source of combustible gas or vapour, such as the oil sump 18, that is introduced by the suction in chamber 11 and together with the exhaust gas into the manifold 1.
