662,833. Automatic steering control systems. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. Jan. 15, 1945 [Dec. 31, 1943], No. 1214/45. Drawings to Specification. Class 38 (iv). In an automatic system for controlling a craft about one of its axes by means of a servooperated control surface, the servomotor is controlled by a device, normally in a neutral position, actuated by an instrument detecting deviation of the craft from a predetermined position, the device returning to its neutral position automatically, independently of the action of the instrument, upon disconnection of the device from the instrument. An automatic piloting system is described identical with that described in Specification 662,831 and additional constructional details are given.
