Class 20(iv) Wall or ceiling boards 20 are attached to their supports 21 by S-shaped members 24 of which one free limb 25 is pointed and forced into the marginal edge of the board and the other free limb 27 rests on the support which is closely engaged between that limb and the central limb. The members 24 may be made of wire, thin rod or metal strips; they may be elongated and have several prongs, which may be closely adjacent or may be spaced, on the pointed limb. The meeting edges of the boards may be bevelled as shown in Fig. 7, and may be hidden by bifurcations 42, Fig. 12, of a downward extension of the support, or the meeting edges may be left unbevelled and may be covered by 'flanges on the downward extension of the support. The transverse edges may be stapled to flanges 37, Fig. 9, of transverse members 36 carried on the longitudinal supports 21. The support 21 may be used the other way up as in Fig. 13, wherein the support is itself carried by a purlin 43 and the boards are between the supports and the purlins.
