The thread guides 1 of a warp knitting- machine are mounted on an I-sectioned guide member 7 slidably -mounted in a U-sectioned guide-bar 8 and retained therein by guide blocks 11. Recesses are provided in the lower flanges, of the member 7 to enable the member 7 to be positioned in and removed from the bar 8 past the blocks 11.
