Abstract

659,419. Overflow devices for sinks. WALLIS & CO. (LONG EATON), Ltd., and CROWE, N. J. Jan. 28, 1949, No. 2356. [Class 26] A detachably fixed overflow device comprises a substantially L-shaped member 1 which is dished to form a passageway from t h e overflow hole to the waste pipe and has a hole for the waste pipe. The member 1 is formed with an out-turned flange 2 having a groove 6 to receive putty. The device is sealed around the waste pipe by a lead washer 15 and held in position by the putty and by bolt 5.
