Abstract

In a method of brazing, a stainless steel article of the composition 13 Cr, 13 Ni, 10 Co, 3 Nb plus Ta, 2 Mo, 2.5 W, 1 Si, 0.8 Mn, 0.4 C, remainder iron is described as being brazed to a steel article (18 Cr, 18 Ni) by a foil of composition 50 Ni, 40 Cu, 10 Cr (parts by weight) to which 1 Si, 0.1 Nb, 0.25 Mn is added.
