Abstract

656,367. Lay figures. COX, W. J. Jan. 7, 1949, No. 540. [Class 52 (v) ] [Also in Group XVIII] A display form comprises a channel arranged so that hosiery lies flat across the mouth of the channel transversely of the length of the form and is shaped to the profile of a leg in the longitudinal direction. The display form is U-shaped in cross-section, the dimensions of the U varying so that the form has the appearance of a leg when viewed from the front, the channel at the back enabling hosiery to be felt and examined without removal from the form. The form is made of methyl methacrylate so that it is transparent and slightly resilient. The channel may be at the 'front of the leg if desired. A finger grip 18 is provided at the top of the channel.
