647,757. Desks. SANKEY-SHELDON, Ltd., and SANKEY & SONS, Ltd., J. Dec. 21, 1948, No. 32932. Addition to 622,037. [Classes 52 (i) and 52 (iii)] In a desk with feet 3 detachably connected by cross-bars 5 which abut either the top or bottom flanges of opposed channel bars 4 at the lower ends of the pedestals or like supports, providing alternative desk heights, the connecting means consist of detachable spacers 10 which can be seated between the top flanges 8 of the channels and the cross-bars 5 as in Fig. 2, or between the bottom flanges 9 and the undersides of the cross-bars as in Fig. 7. Lugs 15, 16 and spring cotters 18 position the parts.
