646,544. Ratchet clutches. GENERAL ANILINE & FILM CORPORATION. May 25, 1948, No. 14136. Convention date, July 11, 1947. [Class 80(ii)] [Also in Group XX] An over-running drive mechanism for a film sprocket comprises a sleeve 32, on which is rotatable the sprocket 18 having a concentric recess 37, a driving spindle 34 rotatable in the sleeve and a resilient member attached to the spindle and bent at its ends in the direction of sprocket rotation to engage the recess. As shown, this member ,is an S-shaped spring blade fixed in a slot in the spindle.
