639,402. Vatve amplifying circuits. SCOLES, G. J., and METROPOLITAN-VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. April 17, 1947, No. 10241. [Class 40 (vi)] In a resistance-capacity coupled amplifier potential variations occurring on the H.T.+line are prevented from appearing in the output by returning the anode resistance R1 of one stage to a tap on the load R2, R3 of the succeeding stage, the resistance R2 being given a value which is approximately the reciprocal of the mutual conductance of the valve V2.
