Abstract

636,344. Moulding by dipping. INTERNATIONAL LATEX CORPORATION. June 2, 1947, No. 14536. Convention date, June 26, 1940. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group VII] A seamless girdle or similar garment is produced by dipping a form into liquid latex. As shown, the form has hook-like supporting members 51 projecting from the top, and elevated surfaces 52, 53 at the front and back having perpendicular walls 56, 59 which define reinforced marginal edges at the bottom of the garment. Sharp contoured edges 54, 55 form reinforced edges at the top of the garment. In a modification, the elevated surfaces may have ribbonlike channels extending upwards therein to form integral suspender tabs in the garment, the channels at the back either extending into upwardly projecting lugs or over to the elevated surfaces at the front. Specification 464,019 is referred to.
