Abstract

634,416. Boxes for balls &c. of thread. PONS, L. A. July 23, 1947, No. 19746. [Class 18] A box, holding one or more balls, skeins or hanks of thread 6, has two opposite ends 1, 3 enlarged and bent over to form flanges 7, 8. The flange 7 is provided with recesses 9 terminating in apertures 10, one for each ball, through which the ends of thread can be withdrawn. The top of the box is covered with transparent material 11 and the ends of thread are held down to the end 1 by a length of tape until required for use.
