[Class 40 (v)] The pulses of an amplitudemodulated pulse train are lengthened by using part of a pulse to establish the potential across a storage means at a predetermined fixed value and a later portion of the same pulse to establish the said potential at a value proportional to the pulse amplitude until altered by the arrival of a succeeding pulse.
