[Class 69 (iii)] A nozzle, more particularly for fire sprinkler systems, of the type described in Specification 632,713 is provided with an actuating member having a flanged head 16 arranged to occupy a position substantially in the centre of the water chamber behind the orifices 9 when in the open position so as to divide and equalize the stream of water flowing to the jets with the object of improving the spray resulting from the impingement of the jets.
