Abstract

631,163. Gas turbines; centrifugal pumps. POWER JETS (RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT), Ltd., and GRANTHAM, C. Nov. 28, 1947, No. 33680/48. Divided out of 631,152. [Classes 110(i) and 110(iii)] The laminar discs 2 of which a rotor 1 is composed are clamped between end plates 6, 13 by bolts 7 which are a tight fit in the laminae. The rotor is secured to a shaft flange 5 by the bolts 7 which have conical heads 8 and coned bushes 11. Other features illustrated are as described in Specification 631,152. Specification 628,036 also is referred to.
