Abstract

Pigments are prepared by slurrying a phthalocyanine with water containing a water-immiscible amount of anisole or nitrobenzene and the dibutyl ester of sodium sulpho-succinic acid, converting the slurry into a foamy mass, and drying the foam by subjecting it in thin layers to heat at a temperature up to 100 DEG C. Copper phthalocyanine may be employed.
