Abstract

626,423. Spring clips. WARD, E. S. W. July 21, 1947, No. 19465. [Class 44] A clip for attaching label cards to a flanged shelf is formed from a single spring steel strip and has a back portion arranged to grip the card against the flange of the shelf and a base portion to grip the flange. In the form of Fig. 2, the clip has a lipped back portion 1 gripping the card 6 against the flange 4 and a clipping arm 2 engaging the flange part 5 against the base portion 3. In the form of Fig. 4, the clip is of J shape, the card 6 and the flange 4 being gripped between the limbs 1 and 2. Spaced clips of these sections may be integrally formed and joined by transverse strips in the back portion or in the base portion. Such a clip, shown in Fig. 6, has an aperture formed in the back portion 8 to expose the label.
