Abstract
626,394. Asymmetrically-conducting resistances. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., ELLISON, L. J., and MARROW, S. H. April 8, 1947, No. 9325. [Class 37] A tube of insulating material 1 containing rectifier units 7 in stacked formation, is closed by metal end caps 3, 3<SP>1</SP> whose lips 6, 6<SP>1</SP> engage grooves 2, 2<SP>1</SP> formed on the tube. A spring 9 interposed between one end cap 3<SP>1</SP> and some contact washers 8 maintains the rectifier elements in close contact with one another over their whole area. Wire leads 4, 4<SP>1</SP> are soldered on to the end caps.
