Abstract

623,936. Scissors. CHANGE-A-BLADE CORPORATION: June 2; 1947, No. 14565. Convention date, Aug. 2, 1944. [Class 30] Each of a pair of frames 1, 2 has a shank 3 to which is removably connected a blade 11 having a bent-over flange 12 along its back edge bearing against a longitudinal edge on the shank. a headed stud 4 being provided on each shank to engage a keyhole slot 15 in its blade and cooperating means on the shanks and blades for preventing longitudinal movement of the blades. As shown, a knob 5 on the shank engages holes 13, 14 in succession when the blade is placed in position ; at the same time, a slot 19 in the blade engages a tongue 8, Figs. 3 and 5 (not shown) on the shank. The blades may be slightly concave.
