Abstract

622,919. Photographic printing processes. LA RELIEPHOGRAPHIE SOC. POUR L'EXPLOITATION DES PROCEDES DE PHOTOGRAPHIE EN RELIEF M. BONNET. Aug. 24, 1945, No. 21763. Convention date, Aug. 10, 1943. [Class 98 (ii)] In order to print a parallax panoramagram picture from a composite strip negative, a light-sensitive emulsion of high translucence, which is carried by a lenticular screen identical with that through which the negative was photographed, is placed in contact with the negative, illuminated therethrough by inactinic light of greater strength than usual and moved until the moire effect has disappeared; the printing and the subsequent developing, fixing and drying of the print are then carried out. As shown, a contact printer comprising a box 2, Fig. 1, including a point-source printing lamp B and another lamp R of intensity higher than the usual safe-light lamp, has superposed on the glass plate 1 thereof a support 3 bearing a composite strip negative 3<SP>1</SP>, which bears a laterally inverted image and which was obtained by the use of a camera employing a lenticular screen and an erector of known type. In contact with this negative is placed the emulsion 6 of a lenticular photographic plate 4, 5, the element 4 of which is identical with the lenticular screen used to obtain the negative 31. The emulsion 6 is of low sensitivity and high translucence, preferably being constituted by chloro-bromide of silver of low density. With lamp R only alight, relative movement between the negative 3<SP>1</SP> and the lenticular photographic plate is effected until no moires are to be seen. Printing from the negative 3<SP>1</SP> is then carried out, using the lamp B.
