622,159. Making foam. WINGFOOT CORPORATION. Feb. 21, 1947, No. 5121. Convention date, Oct. 25, 1946. [Class 47 (ii)] Apparatus for making foam comprises concentric cylinders of which alternate ones 9, 10 are carried by a rotating disc 7 and the others 14, 15 by a fixed casing 3, 4. Foam formed in a chamber 34, to which foaming solution is supplied through entrances 21 and gas through nozzles 23, is broken up by passing outwardly between the lower cylinders 10, 15, then inwardly between the upper cylinders 9, 14 to a delivery passage 40. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also apparatus in which the cylinders 14, 15 are rotatable oppositely to the cylinders 9, 10. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
