Abstract
Basic aluminium chloride solution for use as a deodorant is made by adding a purified, freshly prepared, wet aluminium hydroxide gel to aqueous aluminium chloride solution, heated to 90 DEG C., continuing heating till the solution clears, and filtering if necessary. Specification 123,720, [Class 1 (iii)], is referred to.ALSO:Basic aluminium chloride solution for use as a body deodorant is obtained by adding a purified, freshly prepared, wet aluminium hydroxide gel to an aqueous aluminium chloride solution at 90 DEG C., heating till the solution clears, filtering if necessary, and adding water to bring the specific gravity to 1.26. Specification 123,720, [Class 1(iii)], is referred to.
