618,303. Dry shavers. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. Oct. 28, 1946, No. 31917. Convention date, Feb. 2, 1943. [Class 131] In a dry shaver having an outer apertured plate or guard against the inner surface of which a cutter member bears relative rotary movement being produced between the plate and member, the apertured plate is supported at its outer edge and also centrally by a central stationary stud. As shown the cutting plate 1 is supported by means of its outer edge 2 on the rim 4 of the dry shaver housing 5 to which it is secured by a nut and also centrally by means of its central part 3 being secured by a screw or bearing on the face of a stud 6 which is secured to the housing 5, the supporting surfaces i.e. the rim 4 and the upper face of the stud 6, being in the same plane. The cutting plate 1 is provided with slits 11 and a central unperforated reentrant position 10.
